A very warm welcome to Whitchurch Rural Parish Council's website. Whitchurch Rural Parish Council is the first layer of local government. It is responsible for delivering basic services such as street lighting. It supports and funds local interest groups and recommends on planning applications for future development. The Parish Council is committed to providing a local democratic voice for the people of Whitchurch Rural Parish whilst securing a sustainable future through the promotion of the wishes and aspirations of the local residents. The Parish Council conducts its business openly and consults widely with all concerned. We aim to support and contribute towards the economic and social life of the community and to improve the quality of life for local residents by providing services efficiently and with best value for money. The Parish Council uses this website and local noticeboards to display its notices/agendas/minutes etc. It does not currently have a presence on social media.
Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, with the exception of August when there is no meeting. Meeting venues are alternated between Ash and Tilstock. Please see the agendas for meeting dates and venues.
